Our Team

Christopher D. Smith received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Harvard University (Cambridge, MA) and his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.). A long-time resident of Florida, Mr. Smith also graduated from Pine View School in Sarasota. He is a member of the bars of Florida, Virginia and Washington, D.C., and is admitted to practice in the Middle, Southern and Northern Districts of Florida. Christopher is also certified in consumer bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification.

Christopher started his career with the international law firm of Dechert LLP in 2001, working as an associate in the securities law division.  He became a member of the Florida Bar in 2002, and returned to Florida in 2005 to open a small practice.  His practice areas include bankruptcy, civil litigation, personal injury, debt mitigation, estate planning, probate, guardianship and real estate.  Outside of work, Mr. Smith is a high school football official, an avid boater and golfer, Rays fan, and father of three.

John G. Beggan received a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Missouri. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, FL. During law school, John worked in two different personal injury law firms and now, as a member of the Florida Bar, focuses his work on personal injury law. After living in Miami, Chicago, New Jersey, Toronto, Canada and Missouri in his lifetime, John is excited to call the west coast of Florida his home. He enjoys playing soccer and golf and going to the beach in his free time and remains a loyal fan to his Missouri Tigers.

Monica Ischinger is a dedicated and committed real estate paralegal who specializes in both residential and commercial real estate. She is certified as a real estate paralegal who has been handling real estate closings since 2000. Her energy and unmistakable knowledge of the real estate process make her an ideal closer for her clients.

Monica is an outdoor enthusiast who is very active and when she is not watching sports she is playing them!
